Day 1

Visit of the Zaanse Schans with its typical windmills and discovery of different typical Dutch artisanal crafts

Day 2

Visit of the North of Holland with cheese town Alkmaar – the market square is a fascinating place which also houses the cheese market every Friday morning

 

The Afsluitduik – in 1916, flooding occurred in the Zuiderzee region. People were killed and injured, thousands lost their homes and the economic damage was massive. Something had to be done.

 

‘Wadlopen' nearto Den Oever – hear the silence, roam accross the sandbank and discover the bottom of the ‘wad’. Try to catch some shrimps and search with a detector for hidden cockles just underneath the sand

Day 3

Visit of Den Haag with the Binnenhof – this has always been the heart of Dutch politics. And the focal point of the square itself is undoubtedly the Ridderzaal which you’ll visit together with the Dutch Senate and/or the House of Representatives (Lower House).

 

Visit of the completely renovated Mauritshuis, located in a unique 17th century palace, housing a world famous collection from the Dutch Golden Age

 

Visit of a Delftsware pottery manufacturer in Delft

Day 4

Visit of Rotterdam with the curious cubic houses and the Euromast

 

Splashtour - a tour in the unique amphibian bus is an unforgettable experience, it will take you to the most exceptional and beautiful places in Rotterdam, followed by the “splash”: a spectacular dive into the Maas River
