Jheronimus Bosch is the most famous son of 's-Hertogenbosch.

He created his unique paintings and drawings at the market square in 's-Hertogenbosch.

Along with Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Vermeer, Bosch is one of the most influential Dutch masters ever.


's Hertogenbosch - St. Johns Cathedral

Being a national monument, this majestic church expresses the wealth of 's-Hertogenbosch in the late Middle Ages.

St. Johns Cathedral is luxuriously decorated with statues, pointed arches, figurines, and large windows.


's Hertogenbosch - the river Binnendieze

The river Binnendieze is a century-old system consisting of all waterways within the city walls.

In a distinctive open-topped boat you can enjoy various monuments, characteristic ancient and modern buildings, the waterways, and the magnificent fortifications.


Breda

Breda won the award ‘Best innercity of Holland 2017-2019’.

In the city centre there is one particular that makes Breda recognisable from a great distance:

's Hertogenbosch - the Museum Quarter

The Museum Quarter consists of two museums: the renewed Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch and Het Noordbrabants Museum.

Both offer a wide range of art and culture. With over 5000 m2, this is one of the largest museums of the Netherlands.


's Hertogenbosch - the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center (JBAC)

located in an old church, displays all master pieces by Jheronimus Bosch.

Even though the pieces in the tower are replicas, they are displayed in their original size and framed as originals.


Nuenen - Museum Vincentre

Walk in the footsteps of Vincent van Gogh. He lived and worked here from 1883 to 1885.




Bossche bol

A Bossche bol is like a large profiterole: a big round pastry, filled with whipped cream and topped with dark chocolate.


Flowercorso

The Corso of Zundert (05/09/2022 & 06/09/2022) is the biggest flower parade in the world. 





Heusden

Despite the 134 historic buildings, the fortified town has not become an open-air museum, but a city in which people still live and work.
